Dear Praying Friend,

    IF YOU JUDGE PEOPLE, YOU HAVE NO TIME TO LOVE THEM.(MOTHER THERESSA)

   On behalf of the Proprietress (Mrs Adama Viola Fornah) and teachers of the Center for Training the vulnerable Vocational Institute, I write to express sincere THANKS and appreciation,  for your relentless prayer and concern in the progress and development of the institute. In the midst of diverse economic, social and spiritual challenges, the good Lord remains faithful.

  Spiritual transformation is the key to any development and growth of an individual, organization or nation. It brings about a renewed sense of purpose and motivation. Center for Training the Vulnerable Vocational Institute puts high premium  on spiritual orientation of both staff and students. Skills training, with no proper or misguided character formation ends in devastation. Effective skills training should be holistic.

 PRAYER SESSION: Most of the girls in training are coming from battered backgrounds. Many more are single parents, with heavy emotional and psychological problems. A great number are also coming from Muslim background. These backgrounds and more makes prayer a vital tool in their training. Worship and prayer sessions are observed everyday, before commencing activities of the day. Great TRANSFORMATION is taking place.

 COUNSELING SESSIONS: The Proprietress and staff members engage students in meaningful counseling sessions. This foster a spirit of revival in the lives of the girls. Iron sharpens iron. The general comments and feelings of students in training is that they are LOVED, RESPECTED and CARED FOR.

 Please, join us in prayers for the following;

  1. That true spirituality and transformation would be experienced in the lives of all the students in training.

 2. Pray that the Lord would provide funding to keep the school going. The needs are many.

 3. There is an urgent need for scholarship. A great number of the students do not have the fund to see them through the program-me.

 4. Pray for  funding to build a permanent school. The Land is already available. Present building we are using is on rent.
