Sept 2016 SKILLS VOCATIONAL SCHOOL IN SESSION!

Hello Praying Friend,

SAMSUNG CAMERA PICTURES

Precious greetings once more from Freetown, Sierra Leone.
The Skills Vocational School for Vulnerable Girls and the community is actively on session again, after a short holiday break. The school continues to create tremendous impact on the girls, spiritually, morally and socially.  It is restoring real dignity, worth and value in the lives of the girls in training. SUSTAINABILITY is gradually becoming the watch word for all of them. One of the girls remarked “No more room for careless living. My two years training is helping me to be focused and realize the real essence of life” Your fervent prayer is making this to happen! Thanks.
Please, join us in prayer for the following requests::
 1. That the good Lord will continue to provide the needs of the faithful staff and other support worker.
 2. Scholarship for girls in training.  Many find it hard to cope with the practical aspects of the training.(such as catering, hairdressing and sewing). Practical equipment are expensive in the market.
3. The first graduation comes up on the 29th October, 2016.  Please, pray  for this colorful occasion; also pray that the Lord will provide all of the graduation needs of the school and students.
 4. That the Holy Spirit will continue to work out God’s purpose and transformation in the lives of the girls. That they will eventually become true DISCIPLES of Jesus Christ.
 5. Pray for open financial doors to erect a permanent school building on the school land already available.
THANKS so much for taking time to read this update. We deeply appreciate your LOVE and PARTNERSHIP. We are seeing better days a head, as we continue to serve Him faithful. How could we continue to pray for your family? Hearing from you is just so lovely!
Please, find series of pictures newly uploaded in the Photos Page. Take your time and view. Keep in touch! All HANDS ON DECK!
Hebrews 10:22. Have a blessed day in the Lord!
Yours for the Sierra Leone-an Harvest,
Rev Warren and Viola Adama Fornah.

Oct 2016: GRADUATION OF SKILLS VOCATIONAL SCHOOL IS HERE!

Hello Praying Friend,
Greetings from Freetown, Sierra Leone. The first graduation ceremony of fifteen vulnerable girls,  since the inception of the school three years ago will take place on the 29th October, 2016. These prepared girls, in the area of spiritual transformation, social and practical skills are very much excited to start life of sustainability on their own. Indeed, we have come a very long way by the grace of God to build them up.
My wife and teaching staff are very much busy to make it a colorful occasion. It will also be a time when more vulnerable girls would be motivated to join the school. Your PRAYERS are working!
Please, continue to pray for these graduation and school needs:
1. Sewing machines for the tailoring department: Sewing machines will be given to best students in the department,  to start off life. We are trusting God for five, at a unit cost of $280
2. Catering Department. Cooking materials and other curtillaries are needed–$200
3. Hairdressing Department: Hair kit and other items needed—$250
4. Food for guests and students on the day of graduation–$200.
We deeply appreciate your prayers and possible assistance. You are contributing a lot to instill WORTH, VALUE and DIGNITY in the lives of Sierra Leone-an ladies. Also, fervently lifting you and yours to the throne of grace and love. Keep in touch.
 Shalom!
